Bald Knob

Mabel Louise Morris, age 88, of Bald Knob went to be with her Lord on Saturday, October 19, 2024. She was born on September 23, 1936, in White County to the late John and Mary Osmon. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Calvin Morris, her son Eric Morris, her grandson Mark Dunavin and her brother Donald Osmon. Mrs. Morris owned and operated several businesses with her husband, she later spent her time volunteering for hospice, Hope Restored and Habitat for Humanity. She was a faithful member of Temple Baptist Church in Bald Knob and enjoyed reading, and spending time in the outdoors, especially working with her flowers. 

She is survived by her daughters, Diane Ledford and Debbie Dunavin, siblings, Paul Osmon and his wife Peggy and Mary Fox, grandchildren, Laura Dunavin, Michael Dunavin, Kristi Ledford, Kevin Ledford, and Kirby Holloway, great-grandchildren, Breanna, Trace, Maddox, Lilah, Case, Branch, Gwen and Lucas, and five great-great-grandchildren. 

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 22, 2024, at Cole Funeral Home in Kensett. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Carter Cemetery in Russell.
