Lyndell Williams Gosnell

Lyndell Williams Gosnell, age 82, of Sheridan, passed away Thursday, August 20, 2015 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center. Ms. Gosnell was born November 2, 1932 in Grant County, the daughter of the late Leonard E. and Lillian Atchley Culpepper Williams. She was a member of North Main Baptist Church in Sheridan where she lived for many years. Ms. Gosnell loved to be involved in the outdoors, along with sharing time with cats and raccoons. She enjoyed babysitting, even keeping photos of each child throughout the years. Ms. Gosnell was preceded in death by her two brothers, James Ellis Williams and Harlan Williams; and two sisters, Dora Nelson and Martha Brown. She is survived by her daughter, Julie Owen and her husband, Randall of Pine Bluff; sisters, Mary Sanders and her husband, Walt of Torrance, California, Betty Johnson and her husband, Sid of Beebe, and Margie Camp of White Hall and Patsy Williams of Sheridan, and Connie Jacks of Beebe; sister-in-law, Reba Williams of Sheridan; eight grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren. Memorial services are 11:00 a.m., Thursday, August 27, 2015 at North Main Baptist Church in Sheridan. Arrangements are by Buie Funeral Home of Sheridan.
