Lula Mae Riley, 84, of El Paso, Arkansas passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by family on December 25, 2022. Lou was born on March 17, 1938, raised, and lived her entire life in El Paso. She was a homemaker and faithful member of the Mars Hill Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Riley; her parents, Troy and Allie Kirkland; her brothers, Bobby Kirkland, Jessie Kirkland, and William Kirkland; and her sister, Troy Lee Moore. She was also preceded in death by three great-grandchildren.
She is survived her children, David Riley and wife, Beverly, of Vilonia, Arkansas; Louetta Riley of Jonesboro, Arkansas; and Pam Dale of El Paso. She is survived by three grandchildren, Crystal Almond (Jason), Lindsey Woodham (Tony), and Angel Sanders (Todd); and her great-grandchildren, Allie Woodham, Michael Woodham, Ellie Woodham, Riley Almond, Reece Almond, Sadie Sanders, and Hollis Sanders.
Her family wishes to express their appreciation to all who have blessed them with many acts of kindness over their mother’s extended illness.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be made Camp Areopagus, P.O. Box 483, Vilonia, AR 72173.
A Memorial Service will be conducted at the building of the Mars Hill Church of Christ on Saturday, January 7th, at 11 A.M.
