Lucy Donzia Butler

Lucy Donzia (Stiles) Butler of Leola, Arkansas died Saturday, January 7, 2012 at Sheridan Nursing and Rehab Center in Sheridan, Arkansas. She was born February 23rd in Malvern, Arkansas, the daughter of the late Dem Stiles and Eula Mae (Phillips) Stiles. Lucy was a homemaker and a very faithful member of Leola United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband of over 59 years, Walter Noel Butler; three sisters, Virginia Bell, Geraldine Reader and Bonita Williams. She is survived by one daughter, Sandra Kay Crowder of Leola, Arkansas; one grandson, Todd (Shanan) Crowder of Benton, Arkansas; one granddaughter, Chrissy (Jimbo) Brown of Fordyce, Arkansas; two great-grandchildren, Alec Crowder and Carson Crowder of Benton, Arkansas; one brother, George Stiles of Sheridan, Arkansas. Mrs. Butler is also survived by many other relatives and a host of friends that will miss her dearly. Pallbearers for the service are Dan Holland, J.J. Harrington, Tommy Riggan, Mike Kilcrease, Clark Phillips and John Phillips. Honorary pallbearer will be John Phillips, Sr. Visitation will be 6:00 - 8:00 P.M., Monday, January 9, 2012 at Buie Funeral Home in Sheridan. Graveside funeral service will be 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, January 10, 2012 at Taylor Cemetery in Leola with Reverend Will Bradford officiating.
