Lucas Haydn Ashworth, 22, of Searcy, went to be with the Lord January 4, 2020 at his residence. He was born August 28, 1997 at Searcy.
Lucas was a member of Victory Life Church in Bald Knob and attended Central High School. He was a fun loving person with a big heart. Everyone who met him fell in love with him and was drawn to him. He enjoyed music and was a drummer and guitarist.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Brandon Holland; maternal grandfather, William Ashworth; and paternal grandparents, Jacob and Eula Mae Schmidt.
He married Chelsea Brown Ashworth July 15, 2019 in Little Rock, who survives. He is also survived by a son, Greyson Ashworth of Beebe; his parents, Donnie and Vickey Schmidt of Searcy; two step brothers, John Blake and Daniel Schmidt of Judsonia; his grandmother, Mary Ashworth of Kensett; an uncle, Tommy Ashworth of Kensett; three cousins, Thomas Ashworth of Cheyenne, Wyoming, Ashley Bennett of Bryant, Ark., and Mary Cailin Ashworth of Colorado Springs, Colorado; his mother in law, Shannon Brown and Grandmother in law, Rita Morris both of West Monroe, Louisiana; as well as many friends and extended family.
Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, January 8, 2020 at Sullivan Funeral Care. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday in the Sullivan Memorial Chapel with burial following at Kensett Cemetery.
