Louisa Clause, 87, of Griffithville, passed away October 9, 2019 at her residence. She was born August 22, 1932 at Worden, Arkansas to the late Pernie and Schreldia Taylor Cullum.
Ms. Clause loved to read books, getting her hair done and playing games with her family. She was a retired CNA and loved her family dearly. She enjoyed teaching her grandchildren how to paint and crochet amongst many other things they will forever remember her for.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Clause in 2007; four sisters, Melvie Thomas, Dorothy Jones, Betty Lee, and Nellie Weaver; and one great grandchild, Octavia Stevens.
She is survived by three sons, William Hughey (Lill) of Lawton, Michigan, Jesse Hughey (Melanie), James Hughey both of Griffithville; one daughter, Louise Clause (Gary) of Griffithville; six grandchildren, Thomas Tigue (Sarah), Savannah Stevens, Brooklyn Hughey, Roger Clause (Heather), Kerry Finley (Calvin), and Justin Clause (Carla); nine great grandchildren, Haley and Jackson Finley, Faith, Karley, and Emily Clause; Kayden and Grayson Tigue, Brook and Tyler Burke; as well as many other extended family and friends.
Visitation will be Monday, October 14, 2019 from 1pm until 2. Graveside services will follow at 2:30 pm at Dogwood Cemetery in Griffithville.
