Louis E. Stine was born on May 25, 1935 in Des Arc, Arkansas to William O. Stine and Frances Loch Stine. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Karen and his children, two sons and one daughter, Willie Stine (Marie), Romy Morgan (Phil) and Johnny Stine, six grandchildren - Joe Dacus, Weston Dacus, Kendall Morgan, Megan Stine, Logan Stine and Dawson Stine, and six great grandchildren. He was proceeded in death by his parents, three brothers and one sister.

He served 4 years in the USMC then lived in California, working at North American Aviation, Innertial Navigation Systems Division while going to school at night at CSU-Fullerton. Eventually, he returned to his beloved home state of Arkansas where he completed his Bachelors of Science degree. He will be remembered as a knowledgeable, helpful and friendly employee of the Searcy Post Office for 26 years.

Even in retirement, he got up early every day and had a project to work on; whether it be yard work, refinishing furniture, or repairing appliances - he stayed busy. He was also a life-long lover of playing softball and volleyball.

He will be interred at White County Memorial Gardens. As per Lou’s wishes, no service is planned.
