Lorow Marks

Lorow Robert Buddy Marks age 66 of Benton, died Sunday, January 18, 2009 at Arkansas Health Center. He was born January 8, 1943 in Lake Village, a son of the late Paul O. Marks and Vera Forbess Marks Hackett. Mr. Marks was a graduate of Lakeside High School in Lake Village and a member of Friendly Chapel Church of the Nazarene in North Little Rock. He was also preceded in death by one sister Frances Marks McMillian Ferguson.

Mr. Marks is survived by one brother, Harold Marks of Mountain Home; one sister and brother-in-law, Betty and Clinton Carpenter of Crossett; three nephews, Paul McMillian, Franz Marks, Keith Mann; three nieces, Barbara Mann Kenney, Lisa McMillian McDonough, Carolyn Brooks; three great nephews, Jonathan Brocato, Jason Brocato, Christian Brocato; one great niece, Sarah Mann; special friend and caregiver, Mr. Gordon Honda of Mabelvale.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 21, 2009 at Buie Chapel in Rison with Brother Paul Holderfield Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at Hebron Cemetery near Kingsland. Visitation will be Wednesday from 10:00 am until time of service. Arrangements are under the direction of Buie Funeral Home of Rison (870) 325-6216.
