Lorene Glenamae Pierce

Lorene Glenamae Pierce, age 73, of Malvern passed away Saturday, January 3, 2009 at the Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock. She was born April 18, 1935 in Sheridan, Arkansas, a daughter of the late Odis and Lucille Robinson Walters. Mrs. Pierce worked as a certified nurses assistant and was a member of Fairhaven Missionary Baptist Church of Malvern.

She is survived by two sons and daughter-in-law, Cloise and Pam Hamm of Benton, Timmy Hamm of Malvern; two daughters and sons-in-law, Betty and Michael Boehm of Decatur, Arkansas, Jo Ann and George Draper of Malvern; brother, Dean (Marie) Walters of Malvern; sister, Florene (Hays) Swayze of Malvern; three grandchildren, Joshua Hamm, Jadea and Cliff Stephens; two great grandchildren, Timmy Joe Stephens, Michael Boehm.

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 6, 2009 at Buie Funeral Chapel in Sheridan with Brother Gary Copeland officiating. Burial will follow at Jackson Cemetery in Sheridan. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Monday, January 5, 2008 at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of Buie Funeral Home of Sheridan. (870) 942-3231.
