Lonnie Eugene Blocker

Lonnie Eugene Blocker, age 62, of Pine Bluff went to be with his Lord on January 19, 2024. He was born March 6, 1961 in Hot Springs to Lonnie Ray Blocker and Mary Elaine Phillips. He was preceded in death by his father, his brothers Allan Blocker, and Michael Blocker, his sister Pamela Spencer and his grandparents Tom Blocker and Dolly Blocker, Bill Jones and Ruby Jones and his step-father Melvin Phillips. He was a 1979 graduate of Pine Bluff High School and worked for Varco Pruden and International Paper. He loved spending time with his family and friends. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoyed working on old vehicles, and he loved listening to country and classic rock while riding the backroads. He never missed an opportunity to embarrass his grandsons. He never met a stranger, and he would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need. He had a contagious laugh that was easy to pick out of a crowd.

He is survived by his daughter Ashley Naylor and her husband Chris, his son, Allan Blocker, his mother Mary Phillips, his sister, Susan Wilson, his brothers Chris Phillips (Joyce), and Randy Phillips and his grandsons Logan and Coby Naylor.

Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, January 25, 2024, at Buie Funeral Home in Rison (870) 325-6216.
