Linda Ann Rasmussen, born on August 10, 1940, in Judsonia, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on February 2, 2025. She lived a full and inspiring life, leaving behind a legacy of dedication and compassion.

Linda had a distinguished career in the banking industry that spanned four decades. She began her journey in Judsonia until moving to Minnesota in 1962 in which she held various roles including Human Resource Administrator and Vice President of Operations & Personnel. Her professional life was characterized by her commitment to fostering strong relationships and contributing positively to women in her community. She served as President of the National Association of Bank Women organization which promoted the growth of women in the Banking Industry. She also participated in the Women in Transition organization as they assisted women obtain stable employment and financial independence so they could support themselves and their families.

A proud 1958 graduate of Judsonia High School, Linda furthered her education at Harding University, where she continued to enrich her knowledge and skills. She was known for being an outstanding mentor and a true people person who always offered an encouraging word with a smile. She cared for her husband, Richard who battled Alzheimer's, a testament to her endless capacity for love and support.

Linda was deeply involved in her community and was the first volunteer at the Legacy of Delano Senior Living, where she worked compassionately with Alzheimer's patients. After relocating to Arkansas and living with her beloved brother Bobby for 13 years she served on the Evergreen Cemetery Board with him and was an active member of the Judsonia Church of Christ, where she participated in Bible Study and contributed to the spiritual growth of others.

She is survived by her devoted son, Greg Rasmussen (Gwyn), and cherished grandchildren, Kathryn and Davis Rasmussen, her sister, Carole Engstrom, sister-in-laws, Betty Hearn and Johnice Hearn. Additionally, Linda held a special place in her heart for her beloved niece, Tateyanna Alderson (Nathan), and her cousin, Geneva Boyce.

Linda was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Richard Rasmussen, parents, Dewey and Ruth Hearn, and her siblings: sister Marguarite Hearn Leasure (Denver) and brothers Harold, James Lewis, and Bobby Hearn (Barbara).

A memorial service to honor Linda's life will be held at the Judsonia Church of Christ on February 5, 2025, starting at 11:00 AM with Matt Clifton and Jerry Sanders officiating. Her family, friends, and all who knew her are invited to join in remembering the indelible impact she made on their lives.

Linda Rasmussen's presence will be profoundly missed, but her spirit will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know her. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Children's Home in Paragould 5515 Walcott Road, Paragould, AR 72450.

Interment will follow in Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minnesota on Thursday, February 13, 2025, at 1:00 p.m.
