Linda Kay Neal, born on August 15, 1947, passed away peacefully on February 19, 2025. She was a beloved sister, aunt, and grandmother, known for her warmth and generous spirit. As a resident of her community, Linda brightened the lives of those around her with her kindness and lively personality.
Throughout her life, Linda had many interests that brought her joy. She loved shopping and often found delight in exploring new places. Her fondness for taking trips was matched only by her enthusiasm for visits to Branson, where she made cherished memories. A true aficionado of simple pleasures, Linda had a particular appreciation for Sonic Dr. Pepper, often enjoying this refreshing beverage on her adventures.
Linda's family was a central part of her life. She is survived by her brother Ricky Neal, her sister Pam Lunsford, and her cherished grandson Hunter Neal. Linda also leaves behind several nieces and nephews, who were touched by her love and guidance.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Effie Mae Gates and Ulyss Neal, and her siblings, Dorthy Finley, Shirley Mitchell, and Joyce Porter. Additionally, she mourned the loss of her son, Shannon Neal, who she held dear in her heart.
Linda Kay Neal will be remembered for her vibrant spirit and the love she radiated to her family and friends. Her legacy of kindness and joy for life will continue to inspire all who knew her.
