Pangburn

Linda King, 74, of Pangburn, passed away May 2, 2020 at Unity Health in Searcy.  She was born April 16, 1946 at Mountain Home to the late Wilburn and Lorraine Pyeatt English.
Mrs. King attended Cotter, Arkansas Public School and was a member of Pangburn Assembly of God.  She was dearly loved by all her family and loved spending time with them.  She looked forward to shopping trips, weekend get-a-ways, vacations, and taking cruises with her daughters where she was known to get up and dance with the waiters in the dining room.  Before her health failed, she sewed, camped, hunted deer, put out a garden, and canned. She retired from Land O’Frost after 35 years and enjoyed riding along with her son in his police and game warden career.  She was a fabulous cook; her family favorites were her chicken and dressing, chocolate cream pie, and poke salad.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Wanda Eberle.
She married Shirrell King December 10, 1963 at Pangburn; he survives.  She is also survived by two daughters, Tina Gee of Searcy, and Gina Duke (Kevin) of Bald Knob; two sons, Tony King (Tiffney) of Pangburn and Robby King (Stacy) of Searcy; eight grandchildren, Brandon Cook (Courtney), Aaron Cook (Leah), Natasha Ridings, Kyle Ridings (Amy), Casey Cole (Tom), Justin King (Kristin), Tyler Ashcraft (Jill), and Jacy Ashcraft; fourteen great grandchildren; brother, Jimmy Bentley (Mary); four sisters, Barbara Terry (Hal), Betty Mullins (Bill), Brenda Love, Missy Morris (Greg); as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
A family visitation will be Thursday at Sullivan Funeral Care with graveside services at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, May 7, 2020 at Henderson Cemetery in Pangburn.
