Kay Hicks

Linda Kay Hicks was promoted to heaven and received her healing from cancer at midnight April 15, 2025. Kay was born to Frank Edward Jenkins and Rosie Mae Howell Jenkins in Searcy on August 17, 1951.

Kay had many careers on this earth, daughter, sister, student, military spouse, mother, production worker, banker, good friend, grandmother, aunt, great aunt, great grandmother, and child of God saved by grace.

She was preceded in death by her parents, stepfather, Rupert James Hicks, brothers, Danny Jenkins, Tommy Jenkins, Charles White; sister, Betty Sue Bush and her baby Lester Bush Jr.

Kay is survived by her beloved husband of nearly 57 years, Billy Don "Bill" Hicks; sons, Howard Jason Hicks (Lisa Gray) and Paul Michael Hicks (Katie); brother, Franklin Jenkins; sisters, Rosemary Crouch and JoAnn Holliman; granddaughter, Rebecca Gifford (Steven); grandson, Sullivan Daniel Hicks; great grandson, Theodore Augustus Gifford, Jedidiah Wayne Gifford and Elijah Scott Gifford; and one aunt, Clare Moore (James).

Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 22, 2025, at Cole Funeral Home. Visitation will be the day prior 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday, April 21, 2025, also at Cole Funeral Home.

Pallbearers are, Ray Crouch, Randy Crouch, Jackson Crouch, Eric Jenkins, Scott Holliman, and David Collison. Serving as Honorary Pallbearer is Amy Elliot.
