Lily Flowella (Adams) Owens

December 8, 1933 — August 10, 2017

Lily Flowella Owens, 83, of McRae, formerly of Swartz Creek, Michigan, went to be with the Lord August 10, 2017 at Unity Health in Searcy.  She was born December 8, 1933 at Elkmont, Alabama to the late Emmett and Rosie Mae Holland Adams.
Mrs. Owens was a member of Harvest Praise Church of God of Prophecy in Cabot and was very active in her church.  She loved to sew as well as cooking and baking.  She was also a past bandleader for the Ladies Missions.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant son, Winfred Allen Owens; a grandson, Joseph Lancour; two great grandsons, Donovan Thomas McDowell and Joseph Morrison; five brothers, Charles, JB, Emmett Jr., Ronnie and John Adams; two sisters, Shirley Coin and Carolyn Cox.
She married Charles Owens January 5, 1951 at Truman, Arkansas; he survives.  She is also survived by three sons, Charles Ray Owens (Tina) of McRae, Keith Owens (Louise) of Phillcampbell, Alabama, and Ronald Owens of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; three daughters, Vera May Caldwell (Sam) of Cleveland, Georgia, Lavonda Ann Longstreet (Jeff) of Lake City, Michigan, and Starla Kay Owens of Bear Lake, Michigan; two brothers, Victor Adams (Pat) of Flint, Michigan and Gary Adams (Cindy) of Swartz Creek, Michigan; sixteen grandchildren and numerous great and great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Friday, August 11, 2017 at Sullivan Funeral Care in Kensett.  Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 12, 2017 at Harvest Praise Church of God of Prophecy, 606 N 2nd St., Cabot, Arkansas.  Burial will follow at Antioch Cemetery.
