Lillian Louise Leopard of the Rye Community went to be with her Lord on November 13, 2024. She was born October 24, 1926 in Cleveland County to the late George Stanley Tucker and Lilly Mae Rauls Tucker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband Elton “Snow” Dixon, her second husband Joe Leopard, brothers Leo and Jerl Tucker, her sisters Eloise Buck and Patsy Huckaby. She was a faithful member of Bethel #2 Missionary Baptist Church and enjoyed fishing, travelling, camping and listening to country and Bluegrass music.
She is survived by her sons Ronald Dixon and his wife Wanda, Benny Dixon and his wife Ann, her daughter Susan Mercer and her husband Kenneth, grandchildren, Jimmy Dixon (Darlene), Karen Bogard (Teddy), Connie Keese (Stephen), Gary Dixon (Margaret), Tonya Trucks (Bryan), and Todd Mercer (Brooke), 12 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 16, 2024 at Buie & Cole Funeral Home in Rison. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Friendship Cemetery.
