Leonard M. Jolly, age 77, of Redfield passed away Friday, December 26, 2008 at the V.A. Hospital in Little Rock. He was born April 1, 1931 in Roganville, Texas, a son of the late George Milton and Clara Eugene Johnson Jolly. Mr. Jolly was an Air Force veteran who served during the Korean War, and later retired from Bechtel Incorporated. He was a member of Church of Christ in White Hall, and loved to fish and hunt.
He is survived by his wife, Hazel Jolly of the home; three daughters and son-in-law, Ginger and David Yancey of Mayflower, Liz Brown of Flippin, Theresa Lee of Hampton, Virginia; six grandchildren, Michelle Rice, Christopher Leonard Lee, Matthew James and wife Katie Yancey, Audria Wilson, Russel Wilson and fianc Meredith Davis, Jacob Wilson; five great-grandchildren, Anastacia Yancey, Lily, Gabe, Bridget and Colt Sullivan.
Memorial services will be announced at a later date. A very special thank you is extended from the family to the nurses on 6-C at the V.A. Hospital. In lieu of flowers, the family requests any donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 901 North University, Little Rock, Arkansas 72205.
