Leneard Lecoy Ray

Leneard Lecoy Ray, age 88 of Grapevine, Arkansas died Friday August 26, 2011 in his home. He was born December 11, 1922 in Grapevine, Arkansas, to the late Floyd Ray and Onie (Seymore) Ray. Lecoy, as he was known, was a member of Bethany #1 Baptist Church, Grapevine, Arkansas; He was a loving father, brother, grandfather and enjoyed being outdoors. Lecoy was preceded in death by his parents, and loving wife, Pauline Ray. He is survived by his children, Johnny Ray and his wife Wanda of Lodi, California, Danny Ray and his wife Mary Jane of Sheridan, Arkansas, Patsy E. Jardin and her husband Rick of Loyalton, California and Paulette Devlin and her husband Mike of Grapevine, Arkansas; his brothers, Elvis Ray and his wife Nina of Sandy, Oregon and Floyd Ray Jr. and his wife Patsy of Sheridan, Arkansas; his sister, Geneva Massey of Grapevine, Arkansas; seven grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other extended family members and a host of many friends who will miss him dearly.

Visitation will be 6:00 P.M. 8:00 P.M. Friday, September 2, 2011 at Buie Funeral Home in Sheridan, Arkansas.

Funeral Service will be 10:00 A.M., Saturday, September 3, 2011 at Bethany #1 Baptist Church, Grapevine, Arkansas with Bro. Rusty Womble officiating. Burial will follow at Davis Cemetery, Grapevine, Arkansas.
