Lemar Bennett Nicholson

The Rebellious Renegade. The Middle Child. The Crazy Cousin. A Lover of the Los Angeles Lakers. LeMar Bennett Nicholson was born November 22, 1984 and departed on December 16, 2023. He left this earthly realm just as fast as he came into it, leaving behind many loved ones, friends, and relatives.

As intelligent as he was, he didn’t have good sense. And still he was ours. A son. A grandson. Our brother. Our cousin. Our daddy. Our uncle. Our nephew. Our friend. And we loved him. He made us mad. He made us smile. He made us laugh. He made us cry. He made us laugh until we cried. We remember LeMar’s love of laughter and mischief, as it reminds us that a healthy dose of trouble makes life more exciting, and laughter can cure anything.

He is survived by his children, Jaedon, Kyrin, Emma, and Kobe; his mother, Corinne Nicholson; his siblings, Jon and Amber Nicholson; Aunt, Jessica Caldwell; his grandmother, Emma Jean Washington; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and a myriad of more relatives and loved ones.

He is preceded in death by his father, Jon O. Nicholson; his grandfathers Bernard Washington and Odis Nicholson; a grandmother, Laura Nicholson; and his Uncle Jerry Caldwell.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, December 23, 2023 from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Sullivan Funeral Care Chapel, with services following at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Crow Cemetery in Kensett, Arkansas.
