Lee Garman Wilkins

Lee G. Wilkins, 81 of Sheridan passed away Saturday, March 22, 2008 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff. He was born April 27, 1926 in Blue Ball, Arkansas to Oscar and Willie Garner Wilkins. Mr. Wilkins spent his life working as a farmer. He was a member of Orion Missionary Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Beatrice Cummings Wilkins of the home, daughter Betty Burns of Sheridan; brother, Pete Wilkins of Pine Bluff; sister, Ethel Clements of Pine Bluff.

Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 25, 2008 at Jackson Cemetery near Sheridan with Brother Gale Umholtz officiating. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Monday, March 24, 2008 at the funeral home. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Buie Funeral Home of Sheridan. (870) 942-3231.
