Laverne Lee (Hanssler) Johnston

Laverne Hanssler Johnston, 88, of Searcy, passed away April 5, 2020 at her residence.  She was born May 17, 1931 to the late Charles and Tiny Ridgeway.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Johnston was preceded in death by two husbands, Herman Hanssler and Clyde Johnston; one brother, Charles Ridgeway; and two sisters, Norma Keller and Billie Jo Burrows.
She is survived by two daughters, Cheryl Hanssler Walker of Pasadena, MD, Dawn Hanssler of Jonesboro; one son, Paul Hanssler of Jonesboro; four step-sons, Mike Johnston (Glenda) of Brookwood, AL., Jim Johnston (Kathy) of Searcy, Willis Johnston (Kim) of Texarkana, AR., and Paul Johnston (Deana) of Marion, AR; twenty-three grandchildren; and twenty-four great grandchildren.
A private viewing for immediate family will be at Sullivan Funeral Care in Kensett with graveside services 3:00 p.m. Friday, April 10, 2020 at Potter’s Cemetery in Lepanto where burial will follow.
