Larry Ray Phillips

Larry Ray Phillips of Conway, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on January 2, 2024, at the age of 69. He was born on February 11, 1954 to the late John Phillips and Elizabeth O’Dell Phillips in Fort Knox, Kentucky.  Larry was a loving father, grandfather, and uncle who could always be called upon to play the role of Santa at Christmas. He served in the U.S. Air Force in his youth, and taught English and Literature at the Secondary and Post Secondary levels.

Larry is preceded in death by his wife, Linda Diane Phillips; father, John Kelly Phillips; his sister, Elizabeth Anne Strickland; and his brothers, Robert Kelly Phillips and Johnny Lande Phillips.

He is survived by his daughters, Tiffany Sheree Phillips (Ronnie Hogue), and Krystin Rena McClellan; his sons, Ryan (Shelby), Timothy (Kim), and Spencer Phillips; step-children, Angel Sellers and Jeremy Wood; mother Elizabeth Faye Phillips; his sister, Mary Phillips Neff; and several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date in Alabama.
