Larry Dwayne McCarther, age 71, of Conway, passed away Wednesday, February 2nd, 2022.
He was born January 15th, 1951, in Canton, Illinois to Glen and Anna McCarther. Larry worked many years as a Service Technician with Coulson Oil. He was a Christian in the Baptist faith and a member of Beryl Baptist Church in Vilonia. Larry was involved with the Boy Scouts for many years and was a leader of Troop #444. He was a hardworker, and was known for his love to cook and bake.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife of 47 years, Linda McCarther of Conway; one son, Larry Dwayne McCarther, II and wife, Elizabeth of Conway; one daughter, Torasa Lawrence of Vilonia; one sister, Elaine Elmore and husband, Al of Goldsburg, North Carolina; five grandchildren, Jase Lawrence, Joshua Lawrence, Wyatt McCarther, Ruby McCarther and Judith McCarther, as well as a host of extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Glen and Anna McCarther.
The family will announce a memorial service at a later date.
