Larry Joe Cole

Larry Joe Cole, age 61, of Rowell, died, Sunday, November 4, 2012. He was born September 11, 1951 in Warren, a son of Dorothy Level Cole of Rowell and the late Earl Cole. Mr. Cole was a graduate of Woodlawn High School and served in the National Guard. He was employed by the Cotton Belt Rail Road and also worked in construction. Mr. Cole was a member of Center Missionary Baptist Church. He loved to hunt, fish and enjoyed watching sports with his family. Mr. Cole was also preceded in death by one brother, Jerry Cole; one sister, Judy Stagg. Mr. Cole is survived by two sons, Joey Cole and Jason Cole, both of Tucson, Arizona; mother, Dorothy L. Cole of Rowell; brother, Billy Cole of Pine Bluff; two grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m, Wednesday, November 7, 2012 at Center Missionary Baptist Church with Brother Doney Blackerby officiating. Burial will follow in Rowell Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 6, 2012 at Buie Funeral Home. Pallbearers are David Cole, Tim Cole, Jacob Cole, Jimmy Cole, Jeff Stagg and Colby Berg.
