Lanie (Mike) Quattlebaum
October 12, 1953 — January 14, 2016
Lanie “Mike” Quattlebaum, 62, of Judsonia, passed away January 14, 2016 at Unity Health in Searcy. He was born October 12, 1953 in Long Beach, California to the late Lanie and Bertie Quattlebaum.
Mike, as he was known, attended Magnolia High School and graduated from Dallas Institute of Funeral Service in Dallas. He pursued a career in funeral service, working locally for Olmstead Funeral Home. He went on to drive over the road trucks for several years; lastly retiring from Crossroads Music Store in Judsonia. He had a love for motorcycles, flying, and musical instruments. In his past time, he loved to spend time with friends playing pool at Pop’s Hideaway in Judsonia.
In addition to his parents, one son, Christopher Michael Quattlebaum, preceded him in death.
He is survived by one son, Phillip Quattlebaum (Rebecca) of Waldo, Arkansas; two daughters, Stacy Greenway (John) of Judsonia and Brandy Quattlebaum Archibald (Brandon) of Kensett; four grandsons, Dylan and Dallas Johnson, Blake Wilson, and Christopher Archibald; three granddaughters, Shelby Pratt (Kyle), Makala Quattlebaum, and Carly Wilson; three great grandchildren, Olivia and Isabella Pratt, and Jasper Wade Johnson.
Visiting hours are 6-8 p.m. Friday January 15 at Sullivan Funeral Care. Graveside services are 10:00 a.m. Saturday at Fredonia Cemetery.
