Lanera Beatrice Jackson

Lanera Beatrice Jackson age 84 of White Hall, Arkansas passed away on Sunday, February 26, 2012 in Sheridan Arkansas. Lanera was born August 7, 1927 to the late Luther M. Keen and Netta Beatrice (Barnett) Keen. Lanera was a past member of Bellview Baptist Church in Memphis, TN and later First Baptist Church in Sheridan. She worked as a church counselor for many years, where she enjoyed her work, also enjoyed fishing and shopping. Lanera was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, C.A. Murphy and Frank S. Jackson; one son, Stephen Murphy; two brothers, L.M. Keen and Douglas Keen; two sisters, Anna Mary Johnson and Margarette Griffith. She is survived by one brother, Johnny Keen and his wife, Ava of White Hall; two sisters, Jean Allen of Bentonville and JoAnn Rogers of Sheridan; she is also survived by a host of other family and friends that will miss her dearly. Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, February 29, 2012 officiated by Bro. Sonny Tucker at Memphis Funeral Home in Memphis, TN with visitation prior to the service beginning at 1:00 P.M.
