Kyle Preston Holt, 27 of Beale AFB, California passed away Thursday, March 1, 2018.
Kyle was born March 21, 1990, Texarkana, Texas.
He is survived by his wife, SSGT Samantha Holt of Beale AFB, California; Parents,
Kelley and Rhonda Holt of Rison, Annette Rivera of San Marcos, Texas; Brother, Tyler (Reba)
Post of Benton; Sisters, Ashley (Ty) Watthanaphuti of Fayetteville, Loren (Andrew) Smith of Texarkana,
Arkansas; Grandparents, Elwin and Marilyn Ollar of Searcy, Larry (Joyce) Hoover of
Springfield, Missouri, Bob and Barbara Nipper of Magnolia; Nephews, John Brendon,
Coen,Brady, Sawyer Post of Benton, Lex Smith of Texarkana, Arkansas; Niece, Emma Post
of Benton, host of family and friends.
Kyle served in the US Navy as Machinist Mate on board USS John C. Stennis deploying
to the Western Pacific in 2009. After diesel training in Wyoming, Kyle worked for
Peterbilt. While at Peterbilt, he attained level three Cummins Diesel Certification. He
was currently employed by Peterbilt in Yuba City, California.
Kyle met his loving wife, Sammy while in the Navy and later married on July 13, 2011.
After Sammy’s enlistment in the US Air Force, they were stationed at F E Warren
Missile Base, Cheyenne, Wyoming and more recently Beale AFB, Marysville, California.
He was a devoted husband, son, brother, uncle, friend and loved by many.
He was a member of Rison Baptist Church and a Christian.
He loved mechanics and racing. He sought to fix and make things better around him.
When called upon, his ability to troubleshoot mechanical problems helped many. He
loved football, especially the Rison Wildcats, Arkansas Razorbacks, and the Dallas
Cowboys. He loved outdoors and spending time with family.
Visitation will be at 1:00 with funeral service at 2:00 on March 14, 2018 at 2:00 at the
Rison Baptist Church. Visitation will be at 1:00. Graveside service with military honors
will follow at the Greenwood Cemetery.
The pallbearers are as follows Kalvin Anderson, Ryan Stephenson, Seth Roberts, Brad
Baggett, Drew James, TJ Holt and Noah Holt.
Memorials can be made to the Rison Baptist Church Jesus First Building or the
Greenwood Cemetery fund.
