Kevin Hooton, age 44, of Searcy, Arkansas, passed away Friday, June 11th, 2021.
Kevin was born in Garner, Arkansas on May 14, 1977, to Fred and Sylvia (Brackenridge) Hooton. He worked as a farm hand and enjoyed spending time outdoors. He also enjoyed working on and riding bicycles, as well as playing checkers with his great nephews.
Left to cherish his memories are his mother, Sylvia Hooton of Searcy; one brother, Keith Hooton of Jacksonville; brother-in-law, Todd Nichols of Searcy; niece, Tiffany Rackley (Dustin) of Searcy; Anthony Nichols (Caitlyn) of Springfield, Missouri; two great-nephews, Shane Rackley and Jayce Rackley of Searcy; one great-niece, Brianna Rackley of Searcy.
He was preceded in death by his father, Fred Hooton and his sister, Deonnia Nichols.
Mr. Hooton will be cremated and the family will conduct a public memorial service at 2:00 PM, Monday, June 21, 2021, at Lighthouse Pentecostal Church 505 N. Apple Street, Beebe, Arkansas 72012 with Bishop John Scheel and Pastor Jason Scheel officiating. The family will be available to visit with friends an hour before the service.
