Kenney Ray Sanders, 60, of Mt. Vernon, went to be with the Lord May 16, 2018 at his residence. He was born May 31, 1957 at Beebe, Arkansas to the late Clois and Jwan Kelley Sanders.
Kenney Ray was a graduate of Mt. Vernon High School and the assistant chief of the Cove Creek Pearson Fire Dept. He was also an equipment operator for Jim McKay Backhoe Service for the last several years. He was a caring person who was always willing to lend a helping hand. He will be remembered for his humor in stories and always laughing about something.
He is survived by three sisters, Mona Kay Hill (Sam) of Romance, Fronda Joan Coldiron (Mike) of Mabelvale, and Kellie Jwan Jones (Chris) of Mt. Vernon; niece, Elizabeth Grace Jones of Mt. Vernon; nephew, Thaddeus Fason (Shanna) of Vilonia; and great nephew, Saxton Fason also of Vilonia; one aunt, Billie Sue Koch of Cabot; as well as a host of friends and extended family as well as his family at the fire department.
Graveside memorial services will be 2:00 pm Saturday, May 19, 2018 at Romance Church of Christ Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 1:00 pm in the Church. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Cove Creek Pearson Fire Department.
