Kenneth Paul Britton Sr. 79, of Pangburn, passed away May 13, 2015 at his residence following a brief illness. He was born April 17, 1936 at Demont, Indiana to the late Lester and Mary Cunningham Britton.
Mr. Britton operated heavy equipment most of his life, retiring from Reynolds & Williams Road Construction after 38 years.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Tony Suppa; granddaughter, Crystal Hughes; two brothers, Robert and Earl Britton; and two sisters, Katherine Salf and Charlene Traster.
He married Julia Foust January 11, 1955 at Laport, Indiana; she survives. Other survivors include four sons, Terry Foust of Kensett, Alvis Britton of Garner, Paul Britton Jr. of Pangburn, and Dewayne Britton of Demark; two daughters, Crystal Reaves of Bald Knob and Mary Lavender of McRae; sixteen grandchildren; twenty-nine great-grandchildren; and one sister, Maxine McCosh of Beebe.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Friday, May 15 at Sullivan Funeral Care. Graveside services are 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Henderson Cemetery in Pangburn where burial will follow.
