Kay Rhodes

We are sad to announce that on February 25, 2025, at the age of 85, Martha Kay Rhodes of Sheridan, Arkansas, born in Star City, Arkansas passed away. She was the daughter of James and Fanny Culpepper.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Bill Rhodes, her brothers, James "Junior" Culpepper, Allen Culpepper, Dan Mack Culpepper, and Robert "Bobby" Culpepper; and her sisters, Mary Frances Van Cleave and Collen Stuckey.

She is survived by, her sons, Noel R. Rhodes (Susan) and Joel J. Rhodes; and her grandchildren, Shannon R. McCready (Ryan), Elizabeth Claire Scott (Jake), Ciara Hitchcock (Robert) and Ryan Chavis (Carly); her great-grandchildren Logan and Grayson Scott and Noelle Chavis; and her sister Linda Bridges (Bobby).
