Kathryn Dorothy Johnson

Kathryn "Dorothy" Johnson, age 72, of Sheridan, passed away Friday, September 5, 2014, at Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock. She was born July 31, 1942, in Iroquois County, Illinois, the daughter of the late Samuel C. and Wanda L. Adwell Ingram. Mrs. Johnson graduated from Watseka High School in Watseka, Illinois. In 1979, Mrs. Johnson moved to Sheridan. She was a homemaker and attended Full Gospel Campground Church. Mrs. Johnson is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Carl E. Johnson, to whom she married September 12, 1964; and brothers, Wendal Ingram and Butch Ingram. Left to cherish her memory, son, Sans Johnson and his wife, Arleen of Sheridan; daughters, Theresa Sales and her husband, John of Little Rock and Lisa Sanders and her husband, Eugene of Mabelvale; brothers, Jim Ingram of Hoopston, Illinois and Charles Ingram of Benton, Illinois; sisters, Nancy Hardwick of Hoopston, Illinois and Denise Rebston of New Port Richey, Florida; and grandchildren, Serina Johnson and Kimberly Sales, both of Little Rock, Brian Pierce of Malvern, Brandon Adamson of Mabelvale, Chaz Vedder of Sheridan, Dusty Lukes of New York, and Nicholas Sanders of Monticello. Funeral services are 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 9, 2014, at Buie Funeral Home in Sheridan with Pastor Bert Montgomery officiating. Services will conclude after the funeral service. Interment will follow at New Hope Cemetery in Sheridan. Visitation will be 5:00-7:00 p.m., Monday, September 8, 2014, at Buie Funeral Home in Sheridan.
