Kathi Cato Thompson, age 64, of Vilonia, Arkansas passed away Saturday, June 11th, 2022 at her home surrounded by family.
She was born November 15, 1957, in Conway, Arkansas to Odis and Betty Cato. She was a Christian. She worked as a Rainbow Vacuum Cleaner Distributor for many years, owning two distribution centers and one service center in the Dallas area. She was also known as the "Queen of Rainbow" being the number one sales person in the area. She enjoyed good food, soda, music and rescuing many animals. She selflessly helped others and enjoyed caring for the elderly.
Left to cherish her memories are, one son, Dustin Thompson of Dallas, Texas; one daughter, Traci Lucas of Vilonia; three sisters, Barbara Droemer and husband, Jerry of Vilonia; Joyce Hightower of Vilonia; Patsy Cato of Dallas, Texas; four grandchildren, Taylor Thompson and wife Ashley of Vilonia; Alex Thompson of Homosassa Springs, Florida; Hunter LaBanca and husband, Philip of Conway; Kyler Brown of Conway; five great-grandchildren, Dawson, Trenton, Azalea, Tayton and Luca as well as a host of extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Odis and Betty Cato; and one sister, Reda Cato.
The family will receive friends for visitation on Thursday, June 16th, 2022, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Vilonia Funeral Home Chapel, 1134 Main Street, Vilonia, Arkansas 72173. A graveside service will be held Friday, June 17th, 2022, at 10:00 am in Crestlawn Memorial Park, 472 US-64, Conway, Arkansas 72032.
Pallbearers for the service are Jerry Droemer, Jeff Martin, Robby Hightower, Austin Hightower, Dustin Reeves; Dylan Hightower. Honorary pallbearers are Dustin Thompson, Taylor Thompson, Alex Thompson and Kyler Brown.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Humane Society of your choice.
