Kathey Waddell, 66, of Camden, passed away July 12, 2019 at UAMS in Little Rock following a battle with cancer. She was born June 16, 1953 to the late William and Loucile Patterson Davis.
Mrs. Waddell graduated from Camden High School and went on to continue her education at Dallas Bible College. She was a devoted woman of faith, with her last request being that her family continue to serve God and love one another. She prided herself in being a Christian, mother, and “memaw”. She was filled with love, and loved all things, but particularly animals, (especially dogs), family, church family friends, but most of all her Lord and Savior. She will be remembered for her love, passion, faith, and hard work ethic.
She married Jerald “Tommy” Waddell March 22, 1997 at Camden, Arkansas; he preceded her in death September 13, 2002. Along with her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Earl, Harvey, and Eugene Davis.
She leaves to cherish her memory six children, Tanya Westerman (JD) of Camden, Joseph Cowell (Jade) of Camden, Joshua Cowell (Shianna) of Searcy, and Jonathan Cowell of Camden, Brett Waddell (Chiree) of Farmington, Ark., and Shannon Waddell of Alexandria, Louisiana; fourteen grandchildren, Krystal, Jojo (Kiabeth), Justin, Montana, Rinoa, Cesilee (Colby), Andrew, Jasmine, Jessica, Victoria, Alayna, Kaiti-Beth, Hayden, and Haley; three great grandchildren, Benji, Damion, and Lakynn; a brother, Carley Davis (Tina) of Camden; sister, Effie Lou Nevels (Clark) of Camden; two sister-in-laws, Gail and Juanita Davis of Camden; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
The family will have a Celebration of Life Service 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 20, 2019 at Camden Bible Baptist Church, 1245 California Ave. SW, Camden, AR 71701
