Katherine Phillips

Katherine Phillips, a devoted homemaker and loving family member, passed away on November 30, 2024, in Searcy, Arkansas at the age of 75. Born on September 3, 1949, in Newport, Arkansas.

Katherine's warmth and kindness were felt by all who knew her. She loved Jesus deeply and valued her family above all else. As a mother, grandmother, and sister, she nurtured her loved ones with compassion and grace. Katherine is survived by her two sons, Dewayne Phillips (Kay) of Rosebud and Shannon Phillips (Tresa) of Beebe. She also leaves behind a vibrant legacy of family, including eleven grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild, all of whom brought immense joy to her life.

Katherine is remembered by her siblings, including two sisters, Ann Seals of Jonesboro and Connie Holt of Newport, as well as her brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Sally Webb of Judsonia. 

She was preceded in death by her father, Andy Caldwell; her mother, Nora Lee Caldwell Webb; her stepfather, Jefferson Warren; her daughter, Donna Sanders; and several siblings, including Alice Fay Holt, Francis Caldwell, Edward Caldwell, Michael Webb, and Elizabeth Newton.

A visitation to celebrate Katherine's life will be held on December 4, 2024, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Cole Funeral Home in Kensett, Arkansas. The funeral service will take place the following day, December 5, 2024, at 11:00 AM, also at Cole Funeral Home with burial to follow at White County Cemetery.
