Karen Renee Light

Karen Renee Light, age 58 of Judsonia, Arkansas, left her earthly home on October 6, 2022. She was born on August 20, 1964, in Little Rock, Arkansas to Farrell Henry and Patsy Thacker Cook.   Karen loved spending time with her family, reading, traveling, being at the ocean, and she was well known by many for her amazing homemade baked pies.   She is preceded in death by her father, Farrell Henry Cook and her grandparents, J.W and Bertha Thacker, Judsonia, Arkansas and Henry and Dovie Cook of Searcy, Arkansas.

Mrs. Light is survived by her husband of 40 years, Eddie Light; her mother, Patsy Thacker Cook. Also surviving, three children, Derrick Light, Jared Light (Breanna), and Melinda Macias (Joey). Additionally surviving is one brother Jim Cook, and one sister, Molly Warrington (David) and sister-in-law Glenda Cook.  Mrs. Light leaves two grandchildren, Willow and Angel; as well nieces, Alicia, Penny, and Olivia, and nephews, Douglas, Eric, Jake, Dan and Paul.

There will be a public visitation on Sunday, October 9, 2022, from 6:00 P.M.- 8:00 P.M. at Sullivan Funeral Care Chapel. Services will be Monday, October 10th, 2022, 10:00 A.M. at Sullivan Funeral Care Chapel in Kensett, AR.  Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Judsonia, Arkansas.
