Judy Stone

Judy Mae Stone (Granny) was unexpectedly taken at the young age of 75 on December 8, 2022. Judy was well known for her compassion, intelligence, love of reading, love for her family, having a great conversation and teaching anyone who was willing to learn how to crochet. Judy was born to the late Benjamin and Jewel Holderfield Stone of Rowell, Arkansas on April 5, 1947 and was preceded in death by her parents and brother Bennie Joe.

Judy is survived by her children Tabitha Edwards, Benjamin Graham and his wife Courtney Dibrell Graham (her other daughter), grandchildren Jada Edwards, Riona Edwards, and Elizabeth Graham, her favorite baby brother Billy Stone and his wife Jane, as well as a slew of nephews, nieces, three dogs Izzy, Sophie, and Chewy, cousins and Friends.

After graduation from high school, Judy began a forty-nine year career at Westinghouse which later changed to Philips Lighting. In her free time she was always busy with family and friends, and doing for others. Judy was a devoted mother and grandmother that pushed her children and grandchildren to success.

For all that knew Judy there was never a dull moment with her dynamic personality, general know how and gift of conversation. If you asked her, she didn't mind telling you that she knew everything, and would say she knew everything she wanted to know.  Judy was an Angel taken too soon from her family and friends and will be greatly missed!

Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Saturday, December 17, 2022 at Buie Funeral Home in Rison. Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m., Sunday, December 18, 2022 at Center Missionary Baptist Church in Rowell, with burial to follow in the Rowell Cemetery.  Arrangements by Buie Funeral Home of Rison (870) 325-6216.
