Judy Lynn Sipes

Judy Lynn Wolfe Sipes , 69, of Rison, died Monday, June 1, 2015, at Greenhouse Cottages in Rison. She was born November 29, 1945, in Rison, the daughter of the late Calvin Wolfe and Doris Coats Wolfe. She was a graduate of Rison High School and a member of Bethel #1 Missionary Baptist Church. She was an avid Razorback Basketball fan. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Wolfe; and nephews, Michael Moriarty and Shea Moriarty. Survivors include two sons, Gary Sipes and wife Stacey of Rison, Barry Sipes of Monticello; a daughter, Shari Wilkerson and husband John of Star City; one sister, Patsy Carson and husband Larry of Semmes, Alabama; six grandchildren, Madison Sipes, Kaylin Sipes, Caleb Sipes, Faith Sipes, all of Rison, Morgan Matthias of Altamonte Springs, FL, and Abigail Wilkerson of Star City; five nieces and one nephew. Graveside services will be held 10:00 a.m., Thursday, June 4, 2015 at Moore's Church Cemetery in Rison with Terry Sipes officiating. Visitation will be 6:00 - 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at Buie Funeral Home in Rison. Pallbearers are Ronnie Taylor, David Taylor, Jason Roberts, Jason Allison, Virgil Hogan, and Dale Motsinger. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bethel #1 Missionary Baptist Church or a charity of the donor's choice. Arrangements are by Buie Funeral Home of Rison.
