Judy Kay Lunsford “Honey”, age 67 of Rison, Arkansas passed away July 12, 2021 in Pine Bluff due to complications of COVID. It would be wrong to say that she lost her battle, because she never stopped fighting. No matter how sick she was, she was determined. When anyone else would have broken, Honey stayed strong. Through her we know what resistance and perseverance truly look like. There was no quit in Honey. Just because she is no longer here, doesn’t mean she lost her fight.
She was born April 30, 1954 in Lewisville, AR to the late Dale Henry and Mary Lee Williams. Honey is survived by her loving husband of 36 years, John Lunsford. They married on July 10, 1985. She is also survived by her daughter, Alisha Barton Nipper and her son-in-law Troy, and their 6 children and 19 grandchildren. Her son, Johnathon Lunsford and his daughter JaCee Lunsford. Judy has one sister Glenda Tatom of Stamps, and a large number of nieces and nephews. She has three special great nieces Sara, Makayla and Gracie Allen. Honey had a multitude of best friends and two very special puppies, Addie Mae and the late Oliver.
