Judy Marie Free

Judy Marie Free, a cherished mother and beloved family member, passed away on February 4, 2025, at her home in Griffithville. Born on April 15, 1950, Judy dedicated over 30 years of her life working as a supervisor for the Crossing at Riverside. Her commitment to her work was evident, and she was respected by her colleagues and those she served.

Judy was a woman who held her family close to her heart. She is survived by her sons, Bobby Dewayne Free (Darlene) and David Free (Amy), and her daughter, Melissa Free. She was a proud grandmother to Joseph (Ashley) and Dakota Free, and her legacy continues through her great-grandchildren, Alisha and Madison Free and Zoey and Elsie. Judy also had a special bond with her dog, Angel, who was a loyal companion throughout her life.

Judy had a vibrant personality, which resonated with everyone around her. She enjoyed going to the casino, where she relished the thrill of games and the joy of spending time with loved ones. Her laughter and warmth will be deeply missed by her family and friends.She was preceded in death by her father, Grover Free, and her mother, Artie Free. The memories of Judy's love for her family, her unwavering spirit, and her generous heart will remain in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her.
