Judith Carol King

Judy King, age 79, of Vilonia, went to be with the Lord while surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, June 20th, 2021.

She was born in Paris, Arkansas, on December 12, 1941, to L D and Helen Whorton. She served with her husband in the ministry as Pastor's wife for over forty years, and also worked as a State Farm Insurance agent for over thirty years. She loved shopping, going to flea markets and spending time spoiling her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her husband of 61 years, Reverend Jim King of Vilonia; one daughter, Jana Holland (Wendell) of North Little Rock; Jimmy King (Kathy) of Arkadelphia, Arkansas; one brother, Donnie Whorton of Dardenelle, Arkansas; four grandchildren, Casey Jackson of Arkadelphia; Bailey Cockerill of Euless, Texas; Jessica Griffin (Shawn) of Conway; Kara Maltbia (Mike) of Conway; Eight great-grandchildren, Madison Morris, Porter Jackson, Kailyn Coleman, MJ Maltbia, Makynzi Maltbia, Jayden Holloway, Noah Griffin, Trae Griffin, as well as host of extended family friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Noel Whorton.

The family will receive friends for visitation on Thursday, June 24th, 2021, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Funeral Service will be Friday, June 25, 2021 at 2:00 pm all at Vilonia First Assemby of God 851 US-64 Business Vilonia, Arkansas 72173, with Pastor John Wimberly officiating. There will be a viewing one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Beryl Cemetery in Vilonia, Arkansas.

Pallbearers for the service are Greig Caswell, Steve Austin, Larone Lowe, James Cope, Joe Maxwell and Dan Sills.
