Juanita Emma Lee (Johnson) Hardin

Juanita Johnson Hardin, 88, of Searcy, went to be with the Lord July 10, 2019 at Unity Health in Searcy.  She was born March 5, 1931 at Judsonia to the late Raymond and Mary Trotter Johnson.
Mrs. Hardin accepted Christ at a young age and was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Bald Knob.  She graduated from Cotton Plant Academy and retired from CAPCA as an early childhood teacher.  She, along with her late husband, worked tirelessly for the Democratic Party of White County.
She married Eddie Hardin February 3, 1952 at Searcy; he preceded in death April 23, 2003.  She was also preceded in death by two daughters, Deborah Lynn Hardin, and Judith Marie Hardin; son, Ersell Ray Hardin; and brother, Louis Charles Johnson.
She is survived by three sons, Eddie Hardin Jr. of West Point, Stephen Hardin and Keith Hardin of Searcy; six grandchildren, Mike, Jordan, Taya, Tamara, Terrence, and LaMonica; eleven great-grandchildren; one brother, Lawrence Johnson (Majorie) of San Diego, CA; one sister, Norma Rose Carr (Andrew) of Los Angeles, CA; as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 5-7 pm Thursday, July 18, 2019 at Sullivan Funeral Care.  Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 19, 2019 in the Sullivan Memorial Chapel with Rev. Larry Johnson officiating.  Burial will follow at White County Memorial Gardens.
