Juanice (Vinson) Stewart

Juanice Stewart, 86, of Rison passed away on Sunday, October 7, 2018.  She was born on October 9, 1931 in Herbine, Arkansas, to Idus and Lillian Roberts Vinson.  Mrs. Stewart was a long-time member of Prosperity United Methodist Church.  She enjoyed cooking and sewing but loved being a wife, mother and grandmother.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Joe B. Stewart; two sons, Ricky Joe Stewart, John Barnett Stewart; four brothers and two sisters.

She is survived by her daughters, Peggy King (Larry), Becky McClain (Joe Don), Debbie McClain (Kenny), Sherry Hoover (Charlie), all of Rison; sons, Rodger Stewart (Jewel) of Woodlawn, Gary Stewart of Rowell, Ricky Joe Stewart Jr. (Angi) of Woodlawn, Bobby Earl Stewart  (Onieta) of Winchester, Kentucky; brothers, Bill Vinson, Bobby Vinson, Jimmy Tooke; sister, Doris Ritchey; seventeen grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at Buie Funeral Home in Rison with Brother Rick Stewart and Brother Jackie Richardson officiating.
Interment will follow in Prosperity Cemetery at Rison. A visitation will be held prior to the service at the funeral home, beginning at 1:00 p.m.  Pallbearers are Larry King, Kevin King, Charlie Hoover, Daniel McClain, Derek McClain and Bobby Hamilton; honorary pallbearers are Tyler Payne and Jacob McClain.  Arrangements are by Buie Funeral Home of Rison (870)325-6216.
