Joyce Marie Goff (nee Wharton), of Vilonia, went to be with the Lord on December 14, 2018, in her home, at the age of 72. Joyce was born on May 15, 1946, in Conway, Arkansas to Herman and Iva (Pruitt) Wharton. She graduated from Vilonia High School. She worked at the Vilonia School District as a secretary for the Superintendent. She also worked for the City of Vilonia, and she retired from the Arkansas Department of Health as a Bookkeeper. Mrs. Goff was a christian in the Baptist faith and a member of the Landmark Missionary Baptist Church in Vilonia where she loved to fellowship with her church family. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, watching birds, traveling, and working with her flowers in the yard. Joyce is survived by her son, Robert Goff (Sally); and daughter, Lisa Fullerton (Dean) both of Vilonia; sister, Shirley Rutherford (Sam) of Lee's Summit, Missouri; six grandchildren, Mattison Weaver, Hayden Weaver; Ethan Goff; McKenzie Weaver; Casey Mae Goff; and Kaitlyn Weaver; as well as her nieces and nephew, and extended host of family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband; Lloyd Bise; and sister, Alice Baker. The family will receive friends for visitation on December 17, 2018, at Landmark Missionary Baptist Church, 50 Eagle Street Vilonia, AR 72173 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM. The Funeral will be Tuesday, December 18, at 1:00 PM also at the church with Dr. Randy Cloud, and Hayden Weaver officiating. Burial will follow at Cypress Valley Cemetery in Vilonia.
