Joshua Womack

Joshua Lavelle Womack, age 25 of the Woodlawn Community died Friday, January 11, 2013. He was born April 18, 1987 in West Monroe, Louisiana, a son of Randy Womack and Lisa Dawn Haley. Mr. Womack was a 2005 graduate of Woodlawn High School. He was employed by Berenfield Containers. Mr. Womack was of the Baptist faith. He was a loving and kind hearted person, who enjoyed being with his friends, as they meant the world to him. Mr. Womack loved his truck, enjoyed cooking and spending time with his family. He was also known as Smurf by his mother. Mr. Womack was also preceded in death by his grandparents, Marcus Dulaney Haley and Catherine Marie Haley; great grandparents, William (Bill) and Tiny Gavoille, Earnestine Womack; uncle, Kebo Haley. Mr. Womack is survived by his parents, Randy and Connie Womack of Woodlawn, Lisa Haley of Rye; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Justin Womack and Laura Ashcraft of Woodlawn, Jeremy and Savannah Womack of Downsville, Louisiana; sister, Morgan Womack of Woodlawn; grandparents, Ronnie and Sue Womack of Pine Bluff, Ron and Laura Billings of Monticello, Frances Lee of Woodlawn; great grandparents, Earnest Lavelle Womack of West Monroe, Louisiana; nieces, Anna Grace Womack of Downsville, Louisiana; nephew, Aiden Womack of Woodlawn; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services are 11:00 a.m., Monday, January 14, 2013 at Buie Funeral Home with Brother Sammy Alverson officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Cemetery. Pallbearers are Chris Fletcher, Buddy Wikins, Rusty Johnston, Justin Reed, Tanner Hartsfield and Blake Moore. Visitation is 4:00 to 6:00 p.m, Sunday, January 13, 2013 at Buie Funeral Home.
