Joshua Ray Reynolds, 25, of Sheridan entered through the gates of heaven on Friday, August 31, 2007. He was born April 21, 1982 in Little Rock, Arkansas. Joshua was a member of Sardis Methodist Church where he was active in the Youth Ministry and Praise and Worship Band. Joshuas gift from God was playing the drums for which he had a deep passion and for making people laugh. He touched every heart that knew him. Joshua was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Dennis Ray Fletcher and Rennie Charles Reynolds; brother, Edwin Dale Reynolds; uncle Charles Anderson Fletcher.
Survivors include his parents, Mary and Jeff Hager of Sheridan, Jemmie and Connie Reynolds of East End; sisters and brother in law, Crystal and Robert Rowe of Sheridan, Faith Reynolds of East End; brothers, Tyler Hager of Sheridan, Holden Reynolds of East End; grandmothers, Margie Pope of Sheridan, Bonnie Reynolds Johnston of Harrisburg; cousin, Denise (Stephen) Tubbs; aunts and uncles, Vicki and David Tooke, Mark and Melody Hager, Tammy and James Hebert, Tim Fletcher, Tim and Sharon Reynolds, Rennie Reynolds; one precious nephew, Anderson Wallace Rowe; a multitude of other family members and friends.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 4, 2007 at Buie Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Don Robinson and Brother Scotty Thomas officiating. Interment will follow at Rhodes Cemetery near Sheridan. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Monday, September 3, at the funeral home. Pallbearers are Barclay Hager, Mark Hager Jr., Josh Hager, Mark Robinson, Clyde Smith, and Steve Warmack. Honorary pallbearers are Bill Benner, Rich Reed, Mitch Reed and Ron Keiser.
