Johnny Ray Coats

Johnny Ray Coats, 60, of Searcy, passed away November 10, 2019 at his residence.  He was born August 26, 1959 at Pine Bluff, Arkansas to the late Boyd Johnny and Ruth Nance Coats.
Johnny was a heavy equipment operator for the Kiewit Group.  He was a devoted Christian, husband, and father.  He enjoyed watersports, boating, and going to the river and lake.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Melissa Pruitt and sister, Gail Coats.
He married Mary Jane Morgan Coats September 4, 2008 at Searcy, who survives.  He is also survived by two grandchildren, Tara and Toby Pruitt of Magnolia, Texas; two brothers, Dewayne Coats of Cabot and Darren Coats of Fallon, Nevada; one sister, Brenda Peterson of Fallon, Nevada; as well as many friends.
The family will have a memorial service at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 23, 2019 at Fellowship Bible Church in Cabot.
