John Richard Selvidge

John Richard Selvidge, 81, of Kensett, passed from this life February 1, 2016 at Unity Health in Searcy. He was born June 3, 1934 at El Paso, Arkansas to the late Ephram and Ophelia Parker Selvidge.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Hazel Hobbs and Marie Young.
He is survived by five daughters, Billie Cornett (Gregg) of Searcy, Peggy Bashaw (Scott) of Searcy, Bonnie Jones (Bob) of Searcy, Becky Fugate of Hot Springs, and Deborah Donaldson of Hot Springs; two sons, Johnnie Holloway and Joey Holloway of Kensett; one sister, Betty Peel of Dallas, Texas; thirteen grandchildren, thirty great-grandchildren, and many great grandchildren; as well as a long time companion, Gladys Holloway.
A private memorial service will be planned at a later date by the family.
