John Paul Harris

John Paul Harris, age 64, of Conway, Arkansas passed away Thursday, September 1st, 2022, with his family by his side.

He was born August 9, 1958 in Casa, to Charles and Verlie Harris. John was employed as a Press Operator at Rock Tenn. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, spending time with his grandchildren, and loved joking with those he liked.

He is survived by one son, Jason Harris of Mayflower, Arkansas; his daughter, Joshlyn Lopez (Pedro) of Centerton, Arkansas; one brother, Russell Harris (Joyce) of Ola, Arkansas; four sisters, Ruby Renfro of Conway; Mary Franks of Conway; Ginger Mitchell (Dale) of Jacksonville; Martha Brasher of Ola, Arkansas; five grandchildren, Sean Harris, Kylli Harris, Paisley Harris, Dahlia Lopez, Carmen Lopez, one great-grandson, Brayden Shelby.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Verlie Harris, two sisters, Pat Sarten, Joyce Credit; four brothers, Preston Harris, Frankie Harris, Buddy Harris and George Harris.

The family will receive friends for visitation on Tuesday, September 6th, 2022 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Vilonia Funeral Home Chapel, 1134 Main Street Vilonia, Arkansas 72173. Graveside Services will be held Tuesday, September 6th, 2022, at 2:00 pm in Bolin Cemetery, Hwy 9, Paron, Arkansas, with Ray York officiating. Burial will follow at Bolin Cemetery in Paron, Arkansas.

Pallbearers for the service are Sean Harris, Charles Harris, Joshua Harris, Pedro Lopez, Troy Credit and James Harris. Honorary pallbearers are Mark Crider, Ronnie Smith and Steven Harris.

The family asks that donations be made payable to Vilonia Funeral Home to assist with the cost of funeral expenses.
