John Wayne Gray

John Wayne Gray, age 53, of Rison went to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 14, 2015. He was born September 14, 1962 in Rison, a son of the late Thomas Gray Sr. and Bennie Lee Patton Gray. Mr. Gray worked in the poultry industry and love fishing and hunting. He loved his family, helping others in need especially the elderly. Mr. Gray was a member of New Life Baptist Church. Survivors include his son, Dantrell Gray, Miami, Florida; daughter, Tiffany Gray of Rison; brothers, Thomas Gray, Jr. (Cleo) of Detroit, Michigan ,James L Gray (Martha) of Rison; Gregory Gray (Amber) of Little Rock, Ricky Gray (Mary) of South Carolina, Terry Gray (Carla) of Little Rock, Michael Dunn of Fordyce; sisters, Vera Gray of Rison, Nolia Lockett (James) of Pine Bluff, Shirley Eastman (AL) of Detroit, Michigan, Mary Stallion (Lee) of Pine Bluff, Sheila Gray of Pine Bluff, Wanda Dunn of Little Rock, Carolyn Dunn of Fordyce and six grandchildren. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m., Saturday, November 21, 2015 at New Life Baptist Church in Rison with Reverend Bobby Young officiating. Interment will follow in New Cemetery at Rison. Visitation will be 6:00 - 7:00 p.m., Friday, November 20, 2015 at Buie Funeral Home in Rison. Pallbearers are Bernard Bunton, Chris Cooksey, James Lockett, Jr., Bobby Joe Johnson, Ricky Hoke, and Travis Bell; honorary pallbearers are Thomas Gray, Jr., James L. Gray, Terry Gray, Ricky Gray, Gregory Gray, and Michael Dunn. Arrangements are by Buie Funeral Home of Rison.
